Synthetic Corks

For display purpose, how long can you store wine upright using Synthetic Corks?

As long as you want to. There is no need to keep a synthetic cork wet.

Synthetics are sealed upon inserting them. This allows them to remain sealed while left standing or laying down that is the choice of the brewer that uses them. The other side is I would not depend on these for long term storage. Long term to me is over 3 years. For ling term storage spring for a top quality punched cork there is nothing made yet that will do what these corks do.

Synthetic corks are for wines 1-3 years.

There are two types of synthetic. One is good for up to 3 years, the other is good for up to 6 years.

Which ones are good for 6 years? I thought I had red that 3 years was the limit of them?

I know that some brands of norma cork are good for at least 4 yrs.
