Can anyone recommend a decent vacuum pump that doesn't break the bank? Need to replace one that went bad and don't want the same thing.

20201121_112941.jpgI am using a gomco(sp) suction unit l got off ebay for $50. The canister is from Amazon $10 to catch any overfill should I be slow to release the valve. Got the tubing valve setup from the all-in-one guy. Works really well as long as I remember to pull from the bucket lower than the bottle 😏

I'm not able to find that unit on Amazon. But that is what I'm looking for. I have all the parts from an all-in-one setup but the pump is failing so I want to find something stronger/better.

The unit itself I found on Ebay several years ago. Search suction machines.

Ebay is the place to look for these I found several using "vacuum pump medical suction" as the search term. Price seems to be about $150-200. In my book that almost makes the buying of the All In One Wine Pump the way to go, but that's just me and I understand you got all the stuff and just need the pump. But it would be all new hoses, a nice pretty pump.

Maybe don’t search that on your work computer 🤣
Chuck, I got a real laugh out of your post because it brought back a memory of something that happened to me when I was working. We had a strict ban on using the company computers for anything related to porn. One day, I was having lunch in my office and I wanted to outfit my office at home with an office unit having a desk and bookshelves. One of my colleagues recommended a brand that he thought was good quality at a reasonable price, so I decided to visit their sight. I searched "Hooker." You can imagine what came up on my screen and how I was scrambling to erase it!

I operate with two less than $20 12 volt DC pumps. I will do more than one operation requiring vacuum as vacuum corking and filling bottles.

If I was looking at 110 volt AC, I would check Harbor Freight and next Amazon. Vacuum is available from several suppliers. The cheap ones will wear out and expensive ones wear out. Indoors a oil less model is needed.
