First stop yesterday on the drive up from LA. Tolosa in SLO. Always an amazing experience. Picked up our Spring allocations and some futures that were also ready. Private tasting in the Barrel Room overlooking the winery/cellar. Like the Olive Garden, they treat us like family. LOL

Really dig that color, Varis. I think you said your son did the wrap, but do you know how much something like that would normally cost for a Model 3/Y if you don't 'know a guy'?

Normally that job can be around $3,500 at any shop,
My son can do this wrap for about $2,500 labor and materials included.

One key is to use good quality vinyl, he tells me. He recently redid the front of a model Y because the owner took it to a place that used cheap material and the vinyl was cheap and the finishing was s$$t 😝 and looked like crap.
The job needs attention to detail and they remove many components in order to have a good quality finish, and that takes time.

Anyway, that’s the long explanation 🤓🤓
Now we want to see you driving the model Y 😎😎
I love that car.

Then a late afternoon last appointment at Turtle Rock! More Spring allocation pickups.

You can't drink all day unless you start in the morning! :db

Like that saying on the DR:

“If you complain, it’s because of a tooth ache”.

Yesterdays last stop on the Spring 2023 Tour de Paso Robles was McPrice Meyers!

McPrice "Mac" Meyers is the owner/winemaker and they have been making wine for abut 10 years now. Small production (~2000 cases). They got on my radar last Fall when their 2020 Beautiful Earth Red made it to WS Top 100 wines for 2022 as the #16 wine. I snagged a 3 pack of them quickly and they are now long sold out.

They are fixing to break ground on a new tasting room and a cave barrel room. Right now they have a single building that is about the size of a large barn that is production, cellar in the back and tasting room in the front. Only a single bathroom in the back of the building that has an outside entrance so you get the drift. These guys have been making do with the tools on hand for some time.

I have to say this was one of the best tasting experiences we have had to date. Even Mrs IB was just blown away with the wines. Not a dud in the bunch. Wasn't looking for another club but could not pass up and we will opt out of one of our other clubs next Fall. Needless to say we really loved the wines. Joined the 6 bottle club (2X) a year that we split with our BFF's but we ended up snagging a full case to split. They even have a 2nd tier label that they sell in Costco and some grocery stores on the West Coast they call their "Hard Working Man" series of wines that retails for $19.99. Had seen it at Costco before but not tried it yet. Let me tell you that stuff is a 5 Star QPR wine for sure. BULK BUY if you see it. I think Albertsons/Vonn's carries it as well. We tried the Cab Blend and the Rhone blend. Both excellent but the Rhone blend was so good we brought back a couple bottles of that for the kids and one for us. If you see it in the wild do not pass up!
