Hey everyone (anyone?) a friend of a friend gave me an old WE port kit to play with. The date code indicates it is from 2007 and the kit is unopened. Assuming the juice is still ok I would really like to try to make this into a flavored port - I'm thinking cherry. So my question is, what would be the best way to do this? Would buying a cherry concentrate work, and should it be added to the primary, after primary in place of the f-pack, or in addition to the f-pack?
I made the chocolate-raspberry port last year and it is a real hit, so can chocolate be added as well?
