Looking forward to learning from some seasoned wine makers.
I started 3 months ago and I'm on my 6th kit and so far no complaints.
5 batches using the Cru kit from my local supplier that have all turned out wonderful and one Chianti must pail that I'm not sure will turn out. Smells more like beer than wine after 3 weeks in the secondary.

    Welcome to the group.
I dont do kits but i would expect your must bucket to be slower than the kits.
I would also guess that at three months you are pushing the limits of needed time to even complete a wine.
Plenty to read here regarding kit instructions and real life applications.
The beerish thing should go away when the co2 is gone.
Have you degassed at all. And how.

I degassed using vacuum pump and clearing agents. It's getting clearer by the day, so it might turn out ok.
