RJ Spagnols cru select Chianti Reserva

Has anyone made the cru select chianti reserva? It says it is richer and fuller than traditional chianti. That can't be a bad thing but i like a good chianti. or do you think i am better off with a super tuscan with skins?

I made the Super Tuscan last September and haven't tasted it since bottling, Pat. It sure has a great reputation and tasted impressive at that time. The only Chianti I have made was a 10L kit back in 2008 which was very disappointing. It's my fault, as I was just learning back then.

I'll be interested to hear what you decide and, if you go with the Chianti, post some initial impressions, please!
