I made a batch of WE Pacific Quartet and followed the directions.
It was nicelyclear in the carboyand ready to bottle. I had to move the carboy upstairs.
After I movedit, some of the lees re-suspended into the wine. I am going to let it sit a while longer and will hopefully clear again.
What was weird is that the cloudy appearance was layered after the lees resuspended. That is, the top half of the carboy was clear and lower lower half was cloudy with a clear line of demarcation.
Anyone seen this before?

Yes my wine often clears this way. Is your wine fully degased? Be sure to rack agian in a few weeks before you bottle. Next time you need to make such a big move, I would rack it first off of the lees.

Your wine will clear in a short time and the way you describe the lees floating is standard for the way a certain fining agent that W.E. uses works.

I am going to let it set for a whileuntil it clears like it was and then rack it where it sits.
Patience is a virtue in winemaking they tell me.
