I purchased a RJS en primeur kit (zinfandel)
After completing kit noticed label date year 2016.Is this kit to old.

no. I would dump the chemicals and make sure the yeast will bloom when you hydrolyze. other wise get new yeast also.

So you have completed and bottled this kit and you just now noticed the label date is 2016? I think that pretty much answers your question. It is good to make. I agree dump chems and probably yeast.
