I found these wine raisins on the web from a small company in Montreal.

I want to try making wine from these raisins. Has anyone tried making wine from raisins or 'straw wine'. I really like amarone; is it similar? If I use EC-1118, uvaferm VRB or uvaferm 43 yeast, should I be able to ferment it dry? I don't like a sweet finish. My experience so far has been with kits with a fair amount of tweaking (i'e' different yeasts, adding raisins, etc). I am much open to advice.
