If you don't care about Shiraz versus Syrah, try the RJS Winery Series Syrah.

That is a matter of personal opinion, so you should get different responses. Do you want a quick drinker or are you willing to wait for a premium kit to age out a couple of years?
I always like anything made by Cellar Craft, myself.
I made a CC Cab/Shiraz blend kit 32 months ago. At 24 months I was very disappointed in it. At 28 months it really came around, the KT was finally all gone, too. At 31 months all of a sudden a really nice cherry taste is coming through very nicely. (I had some of it last night.) I have always been of the opinion that a kit wine will never be better than a typical $10 wine; this wine is as good as any $25 wine I have ever had. I just have to wonder how much more it can possibly develop before it peaks.
