Eight weeks for a five week kit, not bad considering the yeast took the extra time to do its thing. It cleared nicely, lees were very compact. No filter. I ended up with 29 bottles plus one beer bottle for sampling, and the piece of a glass of course that I tried last night. The addition of the oak chips was a good idea I believe, good thing about chips is the flavor is extracted much quicker than cubes. Time will tell, but I believe this is going to be a very good one.
