This is some of the sediment (DB) saved from primary when I transferred to secondary. Is this a yeast slurry? Can I use it to start skeeter pee? If yes, how do I store it until ready to use? I don’t want to screw the top on in case it explodes.
Yep, that is your slurry. Put a lid on loose so it can breath, put it in the fridge. Quickest way to start a batch of S.P.. is to just throw the ingredients on top of the slurry after you remove the wine from it. Just reuse the primary bucket with the slurry in it. Should take off like gangbusters. Arne.
