I know this is a bit of an older thread, but Label Peelers is extending their most recent 35% off sale for 2 more days. If this is your first time ordering from them, you can use code firstorder10% for 10% off. I used this deal to get my first kit and bucket. Shipping was $19 to Maryland. My LHBS didn't carry the exact kit, but all the others from that line were $45 more than LP after the 10% code. I might pick up a red kit to go with my Sauv Blanc. I wish they carried the Go Ferm and Fermaid O I'm looking for so I could reduce the shipping costs a little on those two.

I saw that too. It's a really great deal and I love their customer service. Very tempting but I already have 3 kits on deck and one being delivered today. Now if I can just convince myself I REALLY don't need another before the sale expires.

Ditto on the Go-Ferm and Fermaid-O/K stuff. I mentioned this to Matt and we should continue asking about them....

Made my first order to LP with the 35% off sale since at that price it was a little cheaper than where I usually order. Picked up two eclipse kits (chardonnay and zinfindel) plus corks and got the free teeshirt. Kits were delayed a bit by the weather and then delivered in a blizzard :). The chard is underway. I need a 4th glass carboy to start the zinfindel (or wait a couple of weeks) and I'm itching to go pick one up.

You guys are a bad influence. I just ordered two eclipse kits, the cab/sav and Chardonnay. Just so you know, when my wife ask, I'm going to blame it on you :)

While I was at it, I also ordered a Vintners Reserve cab/sav and a Merlot. We already have an Eclipse Merlot kit we haven't started yet. I was thinking about doing the Eclipse kits first and saving the skins when primary fermentation is done. Then immediately starting the VR kits and using the skins with them as well. I don't know how much "good" will be left in the skins after the first kits are racked but thought it might be worth a try. This would only be about two weeks total time the skins would be used so hopefully there would be little danger of off flavors from decaying skins.

What do you guys think? Have any of you tried this? Did it work or am I about to ruin two VR kits?

I didn't find anything there about a 5% discount and Brew and Wine is in a different state than labelpeelers so I'm confused. Are we talking about the same place?

In the past, at least, the 5% discount at Brew and Wine Supply was obtained by entering "winetalk5" in the promo code: http://www.winemakingtalk.com/forum/f5/buying-corks-41483/#post461480
