I have been a beekeeper for a number of years, and decided I would like to try to make some mead out of some of my honey. I just started making wine and mead a few weeks ago, but it is really addicting! Hope to learn a lot from this site and make some really awesome batches soon!

Welcome to a great forum. I started my first mead last night - just a gal batch of JMAO so will be interesting to see how it turns out. We're off to my nephews again tomorrow for more honey harvesting - I must say that honey right off the trays (hives) is delicious.
You are so lucky to have your own bees! Make sure you keep us posted on your progress.
