Good day and thanks for letting me in. I’ve made a few kits over the years, mostly from Costco but a few other kits a well. We’ve had a bumper crop of blackberries and plums this year and so I thought I give them a go. Look forward to gathering a much knowledge as I can from the many wise people in the forum.

I have to inform you that you are doomed. You have revealed yourself to a bunch of enablers who will finesse, cajole, and taunt you into making more and more wine. One day in the not so distant future, you'll look around at the 30 or 40 cases of wine surrounding you and realize I wasn't joking.

On the plus side, you'll have wine to drink so you won't care.

On the serious side, post your recipes before starting. There are a startling plethora of bad recipes floating around, and it's far easier to give you feedback and point you at a good path (winemaking has many good paths) than it is to fix a problem.

I'm pretty serious about drinking Wild Turkey while I make wine! I do get some strange blends though.
