acid meter

I have the acid testing kit but I find it confusing. Is an acid meter easier to use?
Are there different brands and what would you recommend?

You want a ph Meter. Much easier, no guess work. Pick up the best you can afford, but plan on spending around ~$80-$100 for either a Milwaukee or Hanna instrument. You can spend less but they are not as accurate and don't seem to last very long.

A Milwaukee MW102 is a very good ph meter. The normally go for $80. You cannot go wrong buying this one.

Here's mine. Went thought a lot of cheap one before giving up and buying this one. It 5 years old now. It also does PPM /dissolved solids
