I added 4 pounds of sugar as a simple syrup and 1/2 the F-pack for a starting SP of 1.092. The yeast is Lalvin EC-1118 and I blended the bentonite before pitching the yeast. The temp is 70.4 F

Thanks Joe I’ll try that on the next one. Do you have any thoughts on a cherry Pinot Noir?

It’s taken about 48 hours for the fermentation to start. Probably something in the f-pack that suppressed fermentation, but it is bubbling away now!

Looking great so far!

This kit is a favorite of the wife's girlfriends when they come over for dinner. Definitely enjoyable over ice sitting out by the pool as well.
