Hi everyone in new to wine making and this forum and I'm looking for help I made my first batch of wine box kit and it came out good so I tried Skeeter pee followed directions except I didn't have a slurry so I just put my yeast in and of course its not doing nothing should I add another or what can I do to get the fermentaion started thanks

You want the temperatue up when starting the ferment. The weather is starting to cool and folks tend to have their ferments not go as well because the must is too cold. Should be in the mid 70's or so. Also if sitting on the floor, make sure it is on a couple of boards or on carpet or something. Not on concrete. Too much heat is lost to concrete. Arne.

Arne is right. Warm that stuff up. I shoot for about 78F for my skeeter pees. A brew belt works great!
