should my target Free so2 be adjusted before or after backsweetening?

I am antsy and ready to bottle my blueberry wine (after aging a year), but have not added sorbate or backsweetened yet. I am wondering if I should add K meta to reach my target so2 before or after I back sweeten and should I go by the pH value after sweetening?
 
You need to add meta anyway along with the sorbate. So add the amount needed for the PH of that wine, depending on any previous meta additions. If you can test for free SO2, that's the way to do it.
