I just bottled the the winery series super tuscan and it is the best. The wine was very impressive even after only 7 mos. of bulk aging. My next wine is a Cabernet. I figure the winery series will again produce a superior wine, but what about the En Primeur line? Are those kits even better? They are only $20 more from my supplier. I do like a serious full-bodied wine.

I have made two batches of the Super Tuscan and I agree that it is one of the best kits on the market. I have made the EP Amarone and the Winery Series Amarone and, frankly, I could not discern much of a difference. Now, I did make a Winery Series Cabernet Sauvignon, which is now bulk aging. It has a good taste but is less on the mouth than I would like. The long and the short of it, for only $20 ($.66 per bottle) I would give the EP a shot.

I'm currently making the

RJ Spagnol en Premeur, Chilean Carmenère
