I have racked my Muscadine into the 5 gallon carboy I intend to bulk age in. I am about 1/5th gallon short. What would be a good wine, preferably a dry one, to top up with. It is a little sweet already is the reason I said preferably dry.

White or Red?

For red, from all my experiments, Concord, Elderberry, Blackberry and Merlot
For White, Chardonnay is good

Thanks, it is red. I am accustomed to muscadine being red and scuppernong being white.

Muscadine tends to have a very strong flavour. A little bit of foreign wine should go without notice I imagine.
