This holds 102 bottles and i'm going to build another smaller one above
it so all together these should hld approx. 150 empties. Ill be
building quite a few of these in the wine cellar but dont know how many
yet.Still have to sheetrock that room still but will get to it soon.

ship.

Way too nice for just empties wade. Get them bottles filled buddy !!!

Looks good there Wade. I noticed a couple things with it different than most of them like that. You saved wood by using three slats on the ends. You set one side lower than the other- I would use the lower side for the neck to keep the cork down and wet(but then would they slide out?) You also don't use slats to rest them on - will they tend to roll back and forth when you take a bottle or two out. Now fill it up and let us know how it works!

Wade very nice... Those bottles will look much nicer full......jh

Appleman, they are tilted just enough to keep the corks completly
covered as this was designed with a full bottle to make sure of that. I
even checked with a few various size bottles including a champagne
bottle. As for rolling around, they are touching the wall behind it and
stayed pretty stabl but then again it was built in place using my pole
laser and is dead level, I would imagine if it had a slight tilt they
might roll around. What I would do in that instance would be to get a
roll of those little cabinet door self sticking bumpers to hold them
still.

Thanks Kutya.

These 2(still 1 more smaller 1 to build and put on top of this) are
only going to house empties as this room is to warm for storing.

The only thing I will change is those outside slots being in between the stiles to save space and be more solid from now on.
