I was looking at Jack Kellers Blueberry recipe. It recommends 2 pounds of berries per gallon. How does that convert to quarts? Is a quart about the same as a pound?

quart of liquid? quart is a measure of volume... pound is a measure of weight ... the weight would be determined by its density. water is 8.1/3 pounds or so ... fruit juice would be more because there are heavier particles in it.
on the blue berry wine I would try and get as many pounds per gallon as you can then adjust with water to volume.

If this is what you're looking for, I weighed a full quart bag of blueberries a while back and it weighed 1.5 pounds.

Forgot to mention, 2 pounds per gallon would be weak. You could add some concentrate during fermentation and add a f-pac later.
