PVC pipe racking cane

I had an idea to build a pvc pipe racking cane to use with my vacuume pump. This should be safe right? I mean water is piped through houses with it. Thoughts?

Yes you can - but if you decide to glue any couplers or elbows inline - then you may have issues. I would have to check if the PH or acidic would effect any of the solvents.

Why not purchase a standard racking cane with a sediment tip for under 4 dollars normally ?

They do make 1/2'' racking canes - not sure how much bigger you were thinking ?

They are typically around 5 dollars or so - and it includes the sediment tip also

1/2" racking canes are awesome. So much faster. Well worth the few dollars.
