My local wine store was out of acid blend when I went today. (I need it for a hard cider recipe I was hoping to start today.)

The manager looked in his book and it said that acid blend is a blend of malic acid, citric acid, and tartaric acid, so I bought all three.

So if I need 3 Tablespoons of acid blend, do you think this is a straight up 1/1/1 ratio of the three?

I believe I've found my answer - will post it here in case anyone else ever needs to know.

50% citric acid
25% malic acid
25% tartaric acid

Thats what I pull up also although with apple cider I would probably omit the Malic acid as apples are high in Malic acid to begin with
