My first wine making venture was the six gallon Island Mist Blackberry Cabernet kit. Which, I'm very pleased to say, I'm drinking as I make this post. It's damn good, even though it's a little low in alcohol.
My second wine making venture was a one gallon batch of Frozen Strawberry wine (using the recipe from Jack Keller's web site, with potential alcohol at 11%). It's still in the secondary.
My third wine making venture (this past weekend) was a one gallon batch of Blueberry wine (using a recipe from Jack Keller's web site, with
potential alcohol at 11%).
And I can say for sure that I will make no more one gallon batches. It's just too much damn work for about 4 bottles of wine. All my future wine making endeavors will be at least three gallon batches.
