They say that in California, growers are going to have to start thinking about global warming raising the temps in their ares, such that what they grow now might not do well in 50 years. Same problem for Burgundy and Bordeaux.

So, in 50 years, in Alaska you may need to air condition to cool your home!!! :(
 
Living in Texas I find this article pretty awesome. I dont know enough about grape vines to say but if you prune off the first clusters will all grapes always set new flower clusters? Sounds pretty awesome if this were true. Another reason I need to buy those grape vines I keep seeing at the nursery!

In hot conditions should be very careful to choose the kind of grapes.
