Mini Jet Ques

Hi All, just trying out a Mini Jet to see if I like it but I have a ques. The inst say to soak the pads then insert, no problem However I don't see anywhere where they filter water through first to get rid of the paper taste. Do you soak then run 3 or 4 gal water first to remove paper taste prior to filtering your wine?

Nope, soak, install, very tight, be sure seated correctly, filter the clear wine.

It's all good except the Sir part. I have dirty fingernails and calloused hands.
