Just started a batch and was wondering when to attach air lock. I'm assuming its in 3-5 days when I remove fruit

I don't attach my airlock until i rack to my secondary. I just cover my primary with a cloth and let her ferment - stirring twice a day until my SG gets down to 1.005ish then i rack..

You won't attach an airlock until you rack it into your secondary. As long as it is in the primary, just keep stirring once or twice a day and just keep it covered.
