Buon Mini-jet question

I'm filtering and can't find my manual. I don't remember whether the pump has to be below, or above, the receiving carboy.

Anybody got the answer?

I don't think it will matter too much if you are not trying to pump it up too high. It does help get the pump going if the source carboy is higher and the receiving carboy is lower.
