How about using fruit fresh? Has anyone tried it with wine making? We use it all the time with canning. It has no msg or sulfites.
 
I am not sure I cant get any ingredients from the website. Guess I am going to store to find out.
 
Back from the store. Fruit fresh is dextrose, ascorbic acid, citric acid, silicon dioxide(anti caking) no sulfites I will give this a try on the next batch
 
Do you not have a local home brew store near you to get ascorbic acid as it would be cheaper and you wouldnt be risking anything.
