I noticed that my 3 week old blackberry wine (frozen berries) changes from a dark red to medium amber towards the rim. Is this normal? I'll try to get a picture Sunday.
your color will mostly be defined by the amount of berries to water, with wild , I usually go 5 to 6 lb. per gallon, unlike most on here i take the hard way, all my fruits and berries go straight into my ferment barrel, no f-pac, it's harder, but i believe that's the best to achieve the full flavor,
