Last night on PBS they had a travel program on about California and it's wine making regions.
While doing the show, they went to a French owned business that made large barrels for the wine industry.
It was very interesting watching them make and charr the barrels.
I can see why the barrels are so expensive to buy just one or two.
They sure were pretty, when they were all done and the outside had been sanded smooth.
The oak was two years old and air dried.
