Im sortof just starting out and was wanting to buy a batch of cherry wine. Everywhere i look they are very expensive. Anyone know where i can buy them for cheap in bulk, or does cosco have them?

Thanks

Where are you located? What type of cherries? In my area, cherries are only available during the early to mid spring, and at their peak, they get to $2.00 per pound at the cheapest. Of course, those are eating cherries, and they lack acid for wine. Sour cherries, like the kind used for pies make the best wine I hear. Those too go for about $2.00/lb at the peak, and then are only available in canned form.

Yep, Vintners Harvest but do the 3 gallon on this for the recipe.

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They come from an area of our province called the Okanagan. The climate is very similar there to Northern California.
