I think I may have found the answer to the strong vinegar smell and taste to my Gooseberry wine. I added enuf sugar to overcome the vinegar, I ended up with a SpGr of 1.080, Boy! it's sweet, but no vinegar taste.

So, How do you fix your coffee the morning after that kind of drunk? That is a little on the sweet side. Like the new espresso wine.

Wow!!!!!!!! Thats sweeter then any wine I have ever heard of!!!

Sometimes when wine is fermented completely dry they will have a bit of a sulfer smell. Not like infected smell. Adding just a bit of inverted sugar brings out the flavor but boy 1.080.

Did your dentist give you the recipe:)
