vermentino vs verdicchio

Would like to try out a new Italian white this year but have no experience with either, looking for any tasting notes from those that have.

I've done a Vermentino. Nothing dramatic about it but yet enjoyable. Great to blend with. I put some Torani Pomegranate syrup in the bottles as I used them (to taste) and they disappeared in an instant. Guests must have liked it! Try either Verm or Verd or both. they'll not go to waste!! There's always Frascati,,,, the wine that put Rome on the map.... LOL
