Ok I have a very dry strawberry wine. It has not cleared like i would like it and needs to be sweetened. i will be sweetening with a concentrate. should i wait to add fining agents after i have sweetened or fine now and sweeten later????

Haven't reached this stage yet, but from all my reading you should fine wine and backsweeten just before bottling.

Has it been Stabilized yet? If not all of these steps can be done at the same time. Then allow 2 to 4 weeks to clear before bottling.

Stabilize it - wait 3-4 days - then I would sweeten before clearing.

As sweetening and/or adding an f-pac can increase cloudiness.

Then let clear and bottle it.

I have been told to use Glycerin is this recommended since it had a harsh taste store owner told me to use glycerin and then fine with bentonite what do you guys think????? the owner told me that if i add concentrate it will start ferment again and become dry over again. I am not to sure about this however because it has been stable for over a month??
