Sweet Orange Peel

Does anyone have any experiance using Brewers Best Sweet orange Peel in wine making. My wife would like me to add some orange flavoring to a chocolate flavored wine and I was wondering if this would work? Would I be better off using Orange Brandy (Grand Marnier).

I am currently making a Sweet Tupelo Mead and have used some Sweet Orange Peel. I'm getting a hint of orange but not as much as I would like, however the mead is still very young.

Did you boil the orange peel before adding it to the mead? Just curious for my own future reference.

Nope I added it right into the primary.
