So I'm at about day 4 of "secondary fermentation". As you can see I sorta had to get creative (thanks to suggestions from everyone here!) to get the juice temp down.

Here's what's going on inside.

So my question is can I take readings while its doing its secondary fermentation or is it best to wait till next week when I get to the 10 day mark?

There is no need or advantage to take any readings until the 10 day mark.
