With sleet all over everything down here today I decided it was a good time to bottle all my 2013 wines.

14 gallons of semi sweet white muscadine
7 gallons semi sweet red muscadine
5 gallons semi sweet Dragon's Blood

This was my 1st batch of Dragon's Blood and I really like it. Great recipe. I back sweeten to 1.01 and it is just about right for me.

I also was able to smoke 3 slabs of homemade cured bacon too. Store bought has nothing on this.
 
todd, i know the feeling..we getting that same weather in galveston.
congrats on the dragon blood...
have you made a muscadine port wine.
 
I do not know if it would be called a port, but I have made it up to 17% with good results.
