Sorry, not familiar. Appear to be more expensive though, also appear to be
developed for the wooden cask industry primarily. I'd miss seeing the
bubbles!

They had them for carboys too Bil..but im like you..I like seeing those bubbles

I have a few that George shared a while back and only have used them on wines that were done fermenting and settling.


The cost doesn't seem to justify the benefits for most home winemakers.
 
I like being to see right into my air locks. If it's urped anything up then I can handle it right away. And really, there's nothing like spending the evening with your loved ones, watching the air lock bubble!

This way we don't have to go up to the Suds Ur Duds to watch the clothes go round in the dryer.

I thought I was the only one that ever sat there watching the babies burb away.......... My wife thinks Im nuts........
