SG 1.01 Rack or Wait?

Trying to help out a forum member on a fresh wine juice bucket - SG is 1.01 and it has been 7 days in primary. Should he rack and start secondary or is he stuck.
 
I rack to a secondary fermenter any time the SG drops below 1.020, so I would say yes, your friend should rack. With an SG of 1.010, there is still some unconverted sugar in the wine. Seven days in primary is not a long time and I doubt that the fermentation is stuck.

Sorry, this is all I can say with the information you provided. It would have been helpful to know the variety of grape and the initial SG.
