Got a new kit that contains grapes/skins as well as juice. Comes with a mesh bag for the fruit. I'm comfortable with the whole punching down proceedure, but I have two sanitation questions.

1) the mesh bag, simply soak it in kmeta? Or should I use something else.

2) the directions say to squeeze the juice out of the grapes/skins at the end of primary. How do I best sanitize my hands to do so. FYI - I normally wear latex gloves for handling beer and or wine Sanitizers or else my hand dry up and fall off....

Thanks!

I always just wash my hands real good, then spritz em down with the sanitizing solution before i do all that, and yup I just soak the bag for a few min, makes it really simple :)

I wash my hands, spray off quick with sanitizing solution and when done wash with soap and water as it will dry your hands out after awhile.

Plus I try not to smell like a lab afterwards.

Didn't want the purple fingers so I used rubber gloves, washed and sanitized of course.

You're sick!!!! Was that Dr. Bendova?? What the heck did you prep with? LOL
