I have 2 CC Showcase kits sitting on the tile floor in the family room waiting until next July to be started. We will be out of town for 6 weeks starting next Saturday. Should I put the GP's in the fridge while we are gone?

What are the temps where they are sitting and what will the temps be while you are gone? If normal room temps, you will be fine. Remember, these sit on the shelves and the brew shops and in warehouses.

Right now the temp is 77' in the room, probably 75' if you measured the tile temp. We plan to keep it at 78' while we are gone because I will have 2 carboys aging (on fine lees, btw) nearby while we are gone.Do you think that will be cool enough?

You should be fine. BTW if you are in a ranch on a slab dont stack them. Rather keep all 4 on the floor. Its the coolest there.

like said before these are kept in stores and whse's

Maybe you would be better off storing them in my cellar, its much cooler there!
