Due to various factors I don’t think I’ll harvest enough Pinot noir to fill my 15 gallon barrel, thus I’m considering making a blanc from it…anyone ever do this?
There is a winery in Virginia that makes Pinot Noir Gris. It is a best seller. The idea was hatched when the grapes started to rot but the rot was just on the skin. They pressed and made a gris/ white. Not sure why not a blanc.
