would "premium liquid fruit pectin for jams and jellys"..be considered a clearing agent?..just found a box in the kitchen... or is fruit pectin what makes fruit wine cloudy?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats the opposite of what you want as that will make your wine jell up.

Liquid pectic enzymes (which i don't think is the same thing you are referring to though) can be used to help break down the cell walls of fruit to extract more juice - it also aids in clearing pectic haze.

Super Kleer would be an actual fining agent to drop out sediment in wines. However - time will also make your wine clear.

im getting some super kleer this weekend..man i almost made skeeter pee jello...:e try getting that out of a carboy:e
