Pear Port yeast advise?

Any suggestions for a Pear port yeast?


I used Champagne yeast on my Peach Port, I am happy with it, The ABV went to about 17%. I was a little bit suprised. I don't know if I dare risk it on this one because I don't want to fortify to much.


Any suggestions?

The other I was considering was the EC1118. Because it will go to 18% ABV, and it says it is good for white wines.
