So I started a wine from a gallon of crangrape juice as one my first wines and it was great, I degas it and today when I tasted it it was fizzy so I degas again but now it has a peanutty after taste. Is something wrong with it?

Welcome to WineMakingTalk.

Not sure on what would be causing the peanut taste. Please post your recipe with starting and finishing hydrometer readings. It is difficult to figure out what went wrong without knowing what you have done

1 gal ocean spray crangrape juice
2.5 cups sugar
1 pk montrachet yeast

Starting gravity 1.080
Final gravity 0.998

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Wine will go thru a lot of tastes and changes as it ages. Let it go for awhile and taste it again.
