I love One-Step, but it doesn't keep very long. What about Star San? Is is OK for rubber hoses and plastic equipment?

You can make a strong solution of k-metsa and keep it airtight or in a spray bottle for quick sanitizing. Oxy cleaners are fairly cheap. Sanitizers you may need at a moments notice.
