Is there a good no-rinse cleaner that will stay fresh in an air-tight container for a long time? I love One-Step, but it doesn't keep very long.

What about Star San? Is is OK for rubber hoses and plastic equipment?

I hear alot of talk about non chlorinated oxiclean, don't know about rubber, but alot of the gang swears by it for cleaning bottles.

Rubber hates,

oils, air, light, and fluctuation in temperature.

If you add any of the above to your rubber on a regular basis.

Don't expect your rubber to survive 5 years, it simply won't.

I would rather have a no rinse Sanitizer in a air tight container.
You can make a strong solution of k-metsa and keep it airtight or in a spray bottle for quick sanitizing.
Oxy cleaners are fairly cheap. Sanitizers you may need at a moments notice.
